Kansas City Steak Co turkeys are always hormone free. They never use tenderizers since each hen is USDA Grade A, so you're getting only a naturally plump, meaty and tender turkey. Please be aware of the pink color you'll find in the meat. This is the natural result of the long, slow smoking process that locks in the juices and flavors. Each turkey is fully cooked. It is, however, recommended you warm them in the oven since they're best served warm. And it makes your home smell like a delicious feast is about to happen!
